The wedding shoe game is a traditional wedding game where the groom and bride exchange a shoe with each other, then the toastmaster reads out some statements, such as: who’s in charge at home? Who of you is afraid of spiders? Who wastes the most money? Who cleans at home? The bride and groom then hold up the shoe that is the most appropriate to answer the question. <\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”142266″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]A fun variation on this wedding game is to have the guests guess instead. Guests are provided with two ribbons, handkerchiefs or similar in different colours, for example, pink for the bride and blue for the groom. The questions can be prepared well in advance and include everything from childhood to the most incredible memories the bride and groom have experienced. In this version of the game, it is not the bride and groom who answer the questions, but the guests that have to wave the bride’s or groom’s colour to answer the question. Laughter is guaranteed if the questions are well-read and worded. Who is scared of the dark, Mary or Tom? Who cried at the hairdresser at two years of age? The best part is if you can find pictures of the event and show the answers with them. Dance<\/span><\/h3>\n

Dancing is the best entertainment for the wedding party. It can be a dance competition or changing the music and dance style every few minutes: rock, pop, twist, waltz, house, jenkka or ring dancing. Make sure the choreography is not too advanced so that everyone can join in, big and small, older and younger, and that the person who will lead the dance has studied and practised a little. The dance should be simple: right, left, clap hands. One step forward, one step back, clap hands. This game entertains both the bride and groom and the wedding guests. The bride and groom are blindfolded. Guests and friends participate in the game that involves recognising their loved ones by simply touching their hands. Fish pond for the youngest wedding guests<\/span><\/h3>\n

Children find it hard to sit still, especially at parties and dinners that last a long time. But if you arrange a fish pond where they have something to play with at the table when they’ve finished eating, the other guests will be grateful, and the little ones won’t get bored. You can arrange a “children’s table” with crayons, Lego and some other toys. Movie time for the kids also works well. All you need is a few cushions, a TV screen and some cartoons and let them have a good time even if they get bored of behaving at the table at the wedding party.<\/span><\/p>\n
