18ct white gold is 75% pure gold (yellow gold) and 25% alloyed metals that give the white colour. White gold does not exist in nature. Pure gold is always yellow. Because an 18 carat gold ring contains more pure gold than a 14 carat ring, it is more expensive. 18 carat white gold is a good choice for an engagement ring or wedding band. 14 carat white gold<\/h3>\n

14k white gold is 58.3% pure gold with a mixture of other harder metals such as palladium, zinc, copper, tin and manganese. Our white gold rings have a plating of rhodium. Rhodium is a shiny white metal coating that is very similar in appearance to platinum. It gives the rings an extra lustrous shine and makes them more scratch resistant. 14 carat white gold is a cheaper option than 18k white gold.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

14 carat rose gold<\/h3>\n

14 carat rose gold is often considered a romantic choice for engagement rings and wedding bands. Typically 14 karats rose gold is a mixture of 58.5% gold, 41.7% copper and other metals. Rose gold requires no rhodium plating and can be re-polished to its original lustre.\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n
