What is a side-stone ring?

A side-stone ring can actually look a bit anyway. It can have a halo around a headstone or several larger diamonds. What makes the ring to what we call side-stone ring is the small stones that sit on top of the ring next to it, or the larger diamonds. These small stones can also sit on the height of the ring, for example, as on the Noble ring. The side stones can be attached with channel setting or pavé setting. The smaller stones serve to emphasize the shine and size of the centre stone.

As I mentioned earlier, we have chosen to initially launch our halo rings with sidestones. This because we think it balances and creates a continuous shine in that type of ring. We now release side stone rings that have a little similar function. For the person who feels that a solitaire is a little too scaled, here comes the option. With small stones running along the sides of the ring we emphasize the headstone. The effect of the little stones is to smooth out the shimmer along the ring while creating an illusion of a larger center stone.
